Who is responsible

Collector Apps is responsible for your data. Contact collectorapps.support@proton.me.

This site is a set of plain pages. It has no accounts and no ad trackers.

Visit stats

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page visits. It doesn't use cookies and doesn't track you across other sites.

Email sign-up

If you sign up for a free Lite, vote on the next tracker or request a tracker, your email address and your answers (your vote, or what you collect and the fields you'd want) are stored with our email provider, Kit. We use them to send what you asked for (the Lite link, vote results or a reply to your request), to decide what to build next, and to send occasional Collector Apps news. You confirm your sign-up first, and every email has an unsubscribe link. We never sell your address. We only share it with Kit, so we can send these emails.

Buying

Purchases happen on Gumroad or Etsy. Their own privacy policies cover payment details. We never see your card number.

The trackers

Your collection stays in your own file or Notion workspace. The spreadsheets don't send anything by themselves.

Checkout

Buy buttons on our product pages load Gumroad's checkout script (gumroad.js), so Gumroad runs the checkout on its own servers.

Why we use your data

We email you only because you asked us to and confirmed your sign-up. That consent is our legal basis. You can withdraw it any time by unsubscribing, and that won't affect emails already sent. For visit stats, our legal basis is legitimate interest: counting visits, without cookies, helps us keep the site working well.

Who handles it for us

Some of these companies are based in the US, so your data may be processed there. Kit, Cloudflare, Gumroad and Etsy say they protect transfers using Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

How long we keep it

We keep your email address while you're subscribed. If you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, we remove it from Kit within 30 days. Votes and tracker requests are kept with your sign-up and deleted with it. Visit stats are aggregated and don't identify you.

Your rights

You can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, get a copy of it in a common format to take elsewhere (data portability), or object to how we use it. If you're in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your local data protection regulator.

Questions and requests

Email collectorapps.support@proton.me to ask about, correct or delete your data. We'll reply within 30 days.
